Description
RoofandRailing by Railsafe offers specially designed fall protection for fall threats that traditional safety systems are unable to address. If the roof needs 5,000 pounds or has a pitch higher than 1 in 12 (5 degrees), fall rating, special fixes might be needed. Furthermore, these systems keep a low profile, protecting roof line architecture, if aesthetics are a priority. Every fall prevention system has a safety factor of two and is made to surpass IBC, ANSI, and OSHA regulations.
Engineered Fall Protection Systems are divided into three types: horizontal and inclined fall protection cables and rigid rail systems, vertical fall arrest systems for fixed ladders, and facade access and suspended access systems. Anchor point systems are also available for a single tie-off solution. All custom systems are rated for permanent fall arrest or fall restraint. Horizontal lifeline systems, either cable-based or ridged rail systems, allow for safe tie-off without restricting workers’ mobility. Rigid rail or rigid track systems are ideal for minimal fall clearance, featuring an enclosed track with a self-retracting lifeline system for continuous tie-off. Overhead horizontal lifeline systems allow workers to span long distances without needing to re-attach to a new anchor point. Vertical fall arrest systems provide fall protection for workers performing climbing tasks, enabling mobility up and down the entire height of the line. These systems are usually a cable or track, attached via a full-body harness and lanyard. Vertical lifelines protect utility workers, linemen, aircraft hangar workers, telecommunication tower climbers, bridge maintenance workers, steel mill workers, oil and gas workers, and solar system workers.
