NextGen 3000™ Universal Guardrail is a new system, which mandates employers to protect employees from falling when work is performed less than 15 feet from the roof edge. The system is available in panel or continuous railing designs, with bases weighing 58 pounds and grab handles for easy lifting. The bases are engineered with neoprene rubber feet to provide a secure grip to the roof and protect the roofing membrane. Railing panels are available in 5’, 7 ½’, and 10’ sections, and odd length safety rails can be built using an adjustment tube.
When force is applied to the top safety rail, the bases drive the load downward and grip into the roof, meeting OSHA requirements without penetrating the roof membrane. Installation is fast and easy, with 15 optional colors available. The system can be installed by RoofandRailing around or over obstacles like piping and ductwork, and roof elevation changes are easy with the adjustment tube installed on the post or horizontal railing. The railing and base finishes are galvanized or treated with a corrosion-resistant TS-22 coating for low maintenance.
