Description

OSHA mandates the installation of Skylight Fall Protection Screens, which are barriers placed over skylights to prevent falls through them. They are designed to work with standing seam, corrugated, and domed skylights. Screens can support loads between 200 and 400 pounds. Stainless steel or galvanized steel are available in custom sizes. NextGen Skylight Safety-ScreensTM is a top brand in skylight fall protection. It requires employees to be protected from falling through holes 4 feet or more above a lower level using guardrail systems, personal fall arrest systems, travel restraint systems, or skylight safety covers. Skylight screens and skylight cages are a more affordable option than alternatives like skylight guard rails and active fall protection equipment.
